9th Ocean Cup U-13 interschool League 2080 Kicks off
9th Ocean Cup U-13 Inter School League 2080 kicks off today on the ocean club turf ground. The programme under the “Gorkha Mayor Youth Football Development Project” with the main slogan “Gorkha’s Pride of Gorkha’s Youth Football Development Our Mission”. There are 5 matches today under the first week of matches.
In the competition, 9 schools team inside Gorkha municipality : Mahalaxmi Ma Vi, Laxmi Community Education Academy, Laxmi Bazar, The Old Capital Sec school Raniban, Navjyoti ma Vi Dandida, Ratn,alaxmi Ma Vi Dumridada Modern Secondary English Boarding School Harmatari, Suryamukhi Boarding Chhewetar, Ratnarajya Ma Vi Birenchowk and Saraswati Ma Vi Aahale and the ocean club team took part.
Navin Acharya, Madan KC and Binita KC inaugurated the competition in the opening ceremony today. Also, the principals of the participating schools were also present.
In the 9th Ocean Cup U-13 League 2080 football tournament between schools in Gorkha Municipality, the first place team will be awarded a trophy, medal and certificate with an amount of 7,500. The winning team will be awarded a trophy, medal and certificate. In addition, the participating schools will be given match money of NRs 1,500 per match.
