9th Ocean Cup U-13 interschool league to start from Ashoj 13

All preparations for the 9th Ocean Cup U-13 Inter-School League 2080 to be organized by The Ocean Club under the "Gorkha Mayor Youth Football Development Project" have been completed.

With the motto "Pride of Gorkha, Pride of Gorkha, youth football development, our campaign", the competition between teams of students below 13 years of age from 10 schools in Gorkha municipality will be held on the artificial grass field of The Ocean Club from October 13th.

The U-13 Seven 'A' side football competition, which runs from Ashoj 13 to Paush 27, will be conducted on Saturdays and public holidays of every week, keeping in mind the students' studies. Super Six League and Plate League will be conducted after group league .

In the 9th Ocean Cup U-13 League 2080 football tournament between schools in Gorkha Municipality, the first place team will be awarded a trophy, medal and certificate with an amount of 7,500 and second place team will be awarded a trophy, medal and certificate with an amount of 3,500  while the plate champion  team will be awarded a trophy, medal and certificate. In addition, the participating schools will be given a match money of Rs 1,500 per match.

The estimated cost of the competition is five lakhs, while Gorkha Municipality has contributed three lakhs to conduct the competition.
